Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist in the commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) power distribution, switchgear, transformers, and motor control centers (MCCs)
  • Perform hands-on electrical testing, insulation resistance testing, circuit verification, and grounding system checks
  • Support the startup and qualification of electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and operational requirements
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, including breakers, relays, wiring, and power distribution equipment
  • Document test results, commissioning activities, and electrical system configurations for compliance and operational reference
  • Follow electrical safety standards, including NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA regulations, while maintaining strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:

  • A professional with a high school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical systems, industrial power distribution, or a related field
  • Technically skilled with 5+ years of experience working with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems in industrial, manufacturing, or power generation environment
