Description Technician – Environmental/Tank Inspections TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI’s Inspections Division is seeking candidates to fill a full-time position for an entry-level inspection field Technician. The Technician will assist our growing division with mechanical integrity inspections of aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), vessels, piping, and other process equipment at petrochemical, pharmaceutical, energy production, and military facilities locally and nationwide. Prior experience in the industry is a plus. Job Summary Ideal applicants will have strong mechanical visualization and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and organization skills This position can be physically demanding; candidates should be in good physical shape, have the ability to work in extreme hot/cold temperatures, lift/move 50 lbs. or greater, and work effectively in confined spaces or at heights Technicians will assist certified inspectors with the preparation of technical reports and should have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Candidate will be trained to utilize advanced equipment including non-destructive testing (NDT) instruments and remotely operated devices Field inspections occasionally require overnight travel, and candidates should have the ability to travel for 1-5 days at a time (generally home on weekends) If desired, this position includes continued education and credentialing opportunities towards becoming a certified inspector College degree is preferred Requirements Ability to perform field work and meet physical demands Ability to travel for the above specified timeframes Valid and clean driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screening and physical Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship TTI is a growing and dynamic team environment with excellent benefits and advantages.
