MEI Europa, a renowned company operating in the Portuguese market since 1992 under the highest quality and demanding standards, is in a growth process and is currently recruiting a Technician for Appliance and Consumer Electronics Repair, accustomed to working with electrical and electronic equipment, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults, test the functionality of equipment according to manufacturer instructions, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
Workplace: Technical Department specialized in Household Appliances and Consumer Electronics, located in Sintra.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Familiarity with the operation of household appliances and consumer electronics
  • Knowledge of the operation and programming of electronic boards and circuits, applying this knowledge to ensure compliance of electronic equipment

Responsibilities
  • Identify faults and repair or replace equipment
  • Remove defective or faulty parts and replace them with functional components
  • Keep repair equipment functional by regularly inspecting and performing necessary activities to maintain them in working order before or after use
  • Set up and connect electronic devices
  • Test new component installations to ensure proper functioning
  • Solve problems that arise during planning, prioritization, organizing, and facilitating actions and performance evaluation
  • Use systematic processes of information collection, analysis, and synthesis to evaluate current practices and create new learnings
  • Register, track, resolve, and respond to customer requests, complaints, and after-sales services
  • Apply the principles and rules governing the organization’s activities and processes
  • Inform customers about necessary repairs or replacements, providing accurate technical information
  • Follow instructions manuals, periodic maintenance schedules, repair instructions, and troubleshooting information
  • Ensure the best possible customer service and make sure that customer service is always carried out in a professional manner
  • Support the management of technical support services
