Sibanye-Stillwater | Fairless Hills, PA Full-time • Onsite • 2nd shift Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Foundry Technician to support metal melting operations within the Foundry Department. This hands-on role focuses on operating and monitoring furnaces used to melt non-ferrous metals while ensuring all production, quality, and safety standards are consistently met in a high-temperature industrial environment. What You Will Do • Operate induction, gas, or electric furnaces to melt non-ferrous metals • Monitor metal temperatures and visual indicators to achieve specified melting conditions • Safely pour molten metal into molds or ingots and prepare samples for laboratory analysis • Accurately record production data and enter information into tracking systems • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with procedures • Observe equipment during operation to identify irregularities or malfunctions • Follow production schedules and meet operational and quality targets • Submit maintenance requests and assist with minor repairs as needed What You Bring • High school diploma or GED required • Previous experience in furnace, foundry, or metal processing operations preferred • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Basic arithmetic skills • Team oriented with strong communication skills • Proven commitment to safety and adherence to operating procedures • Reliable transportation required due to limited public transportation access Schedule & Benefits • 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, onsite at Fairless Hills • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits • 401k with company match • Paid holidays, vacation, sick time, personal holiday, and community days • Stable, mission-driven organization Compliance Requirements • Must meet ITAR and NAID eligibility requirements • Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment drug testing Apply today and help us support safe operations, production quality, and a more sustainable future.
