Description
Job Purpose: To carry out accurate diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of powersports motorcycles in accordance with manufacturer standards, ensuring optimal performance, safety, reliability, and high-quality customer service. Key Job Responsibilities • Review job cards, collect required tools, equipment, and spare parts, and perform repair and maintenance work strictly as per manufacturer-approved repair procedures. • Conduct accurate fault diagnosis and ensure effective time management to complete jobs within standard repair times; promptly report delays due to parts unavailability or technical constraints to the Team Leader. • Perform scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, electrical diagnostics, and warranty repairs for powersports motorcycles. • Maintain personal tools, workshop equipment, lifts, and assigned work areas in compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards. • Ensure safe handling and storage of tools; immediately report any tool damage, accidents, or safety incidents to minimize risks and downtime. • Accurately record all work performed, labor time, and findings on the Repair Order, and follow proper clock-in/clock-out procedures as per workshop policies. • Return unused parts or store them correctly to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce wastage. • Strictly adhere to manufacturer technical specifications, service bulletins, and management instructions to ensure repair accuracy and brand service quality. • Support the Team Leader and Service Advisor by providing clear technical feedback and assisting with accurate repair order documentation. • Carry out additional tasks assigned by Management to support overall workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction. Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills • S.S.C. / Trade Certificate / Vocational Training in Automobile or Motorcycle Mechanics, or a related technical field. • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Technician or Auto Mechanic in a reputed workshop or authorized dealership. • Prior experience with motorcycles or high-performance/premium brands will be an advantage. • Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and electrical repair skills specific to motorcycles/powersports vehicles. • Good understanding of manufacturer repair standards and workshop processes. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. • Good time management and problem-solving abilities. • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
