Technical skills desired but not required (but a desire to learn!) Dental Prophylaxis, Probing and Charting (and dental digital radiographs a plus) Anesthesia experience: induction, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery Confident in setting up, running, and monitoring anesthesia Venipuncture and phlebotomy Administration of Medications PO, SQ, IM, IV Proficient in medical math Provide high-quality nursing care to pre-op and post-op patients Well-developed animal handling and restraint skills Work directly with owners from check-in to check out Superb communication skills with both clients and other staff Must thrive in a team environment Prepares the treatment area for procedures, including preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies Proper Use of Laboratory Tools for internal and external testing, such as PCV, BG, Snap Tests, PT/PTT, In-hospital CBC and Chemistries, Microscopic evaluations We’re seeking a motivated and trainable technician to assist in a specialty dental practice. This position involves surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, radiograph positioning, charting, and post-op care. While previous dental or specialty experience is a plus, it’s not required—we’re willing to train the right candidate.
