Check us out - www.oceanagold.com Job Description Seeking a suitably qualified and reliable Technician – Geological Services for a fixed term employment to be based in Surigao to support and assist the company in its pursuit of exploration and discovery of Au-Cu deposits in the Philippines. The role will report to the Senior Geologist – Exploration. Key tasks and responsibilities: Participate in geological field surveys and mapping exercises under the guidance of senior geologists Assist in collecting geological samples, such as rock cores or soil samples, for laboratory analysis Follow safety protocols and guidelines during fieldwork activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Conduct maintenance activities by following established standard operation procedures Conduct routine maintenance activities in a timely manner Apply string fault finding and diagnostic capabilities Complete required data collection process Operate drilling equipment according to basic safety protocols Identify basic drilling issues and report them to supervisors; Prepare drilling equipment and documentations before conducting drilling works Qualifications Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way High school graduate At least one (1) year of experience as Core/Field Technician With a National Certificate (NCII) in Driving With a valid Professional Driver’s License Preferably with experience in forklift operation Knowledgeable in Corebox naming, core meterage, magnetic susceptibility and pXRF readings, core orientation, core cutting, sampling interval, core sampling, sample preparation and dispatch Good communication skills both oral and written Drive for continuous improvement and innovation Amenable to 1 year fixed-term contract Additional Information WHAT'S ON OFFER: Competitive salary Accommodation and food provided on site Health Insurance Living Our Values recognition program Access to OceanaGold Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Exceptional working environment where people are valued and respected **Applications close on 18 November 2025.
