Job Details Job Location: Eatonton, GA 31024 This role is responsible for the basic wiring and installation of televisions, cameras, speakers, touch panels, etc. Site Assessment: • Assist in basic site evaluations under supervision, learning to identify key elements necessary for smart home system installations, while adhering to safety protocols. Planning: • Support planning efforts by gathering and organizing materials as directed by senior technicians and project leads, ensuring safety measures are considered. Resource Allocation: • Ensure tools and materials are available and ready, assisting in the setup of the worksite while following safety guidelines. Wiring: • Aid in the installation of wiring, learning proper techniques for routing and landing according to company standards and safety regulations. Device Installation: • Assist with the installation of devices, learning to ensure correct mounting, alignment, and safety compliance with project specifications. Inspections and Quality: • Participate in inspections by observing and learning from senior technicians, gaining knowledge of quality and safety standards. Coordination: • Assist in coordinating with other trades, following instructions to ensure smooth and safe collaboration on the construction site. Troubleshooting: • Learn to identify and resolve basic issues during the installation process under the guidance of experienced technicians, prioritizing safety. Documentation: • Help prepare documentation of the installation, learning to create as-built drawings and other required reports, ensuring accurate time tracking for project and payroll purposes. Tactical: • Assist with tactical tasks, following instructions and learning to handle more complex items as experience grows, while maintaining safety. Ongoing Responsibilities: • Continuously learn from senior technicians, engaging in training opportunities to build foundational skills and understanding of safety protocols. • Track time accurately on all tasks and projects to support efficient payroll processing. Qualifications Must be dependable Have basic knowledge of structured wiring and home construction desired Strong communication skills Time Management Be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and 75+ pounds occasionally Must be able to use and read a tape measure properly Be comfortable on ladder or high places Be able to do basic troubleshooting.
