This includes setting equipment up for production, any necessary cleaning, monitoring the filling process of the finished product, and final packaging for distribution. This position will also support any other production activities as required by the Lead, Production Supervisor or the Manufacturing Manager. The work schedule for this position is a 2-2-3 schedule (12 hour day shifts) from 6am-6:30pm. Qualifications Highschool Diploma or equivalent requirement 1 year of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing preferred) Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy Able to safely operate a tow motor Works in accordance with, and supports, company Standard Operating Procedures as outlined in the HACCP, SSOP and Quality manuals Reliable, dependable, with a “team player” orientation Willingness to be flexible on working hours, including weekends and holidays Willing to work overtime as needed Willingness to speak up and review problems with supervisor in order to determine best course of action, offering suggestions and providing clear communication of the problem Demonstrated verbal communication skills to be effective Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Frequent work in a hot and humid production environment Occasional work required outside in various temperatures This position may perform activities in an environment that contains hazardous elements and requires safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members All safety procedures in all functional areas must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with Sitting, standing, walking, repetitive use of hands/arms/legs, and eye/hand coordination for 6+ hours a day.
