REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years’ experience in customer service installing or replacing technical components at customer sites, i.e. cable boxes, phone systems, network equipment, etc. is desired.
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, service-oriented with good technical aptitude, willing to perform variable field-based assignments at client locations.
  • Ability to operate a lift (e.g. boom, scissor, vertical)
  • Cat-5 through Cat-7connectivity experience is a plus
  • Basic computer skills and mobile device application usage (Email, Text Messaging, Photos)
  • Be familiar with MS Word and Excel applications and PDF viewers/editors (Adobe, Bluebeam)
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, co-workers and team lead
  • Must be able to work as part of a team with management, survey engineers, core engineers and other Technicians in a fast-paced environment.
  • Need to possess attention to detail, be able to multi-task and learn quickly.
  • Must have or be able to pass the Veterans Administration Background Investigation
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screeing
  • Must complete and pass two stage TB testing
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must reside within the continental United States
  • Must be willing and able to travel 80-100%
  • Must be willing and able to travel via plane to CONUS and OCONUS locations

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform a variety of tasks, specifically to assist in exchanging existing wireless access points with new wireless access points in hospital/healthcare environments.
  • Under general direction, inventory, document, remove, replace, mount and confirm connectivity of wireless access points
  • Document and escalate any irregularities and challenges
  • Read floor plans and document access point location changes
  • Complete daily progress reports in a timely manner
  • Complete work within OSHA and the Veteran’s Administration regulations
  • Complete work in a manner consistent with infection control guidance provided by each location
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are secure at all times
  • Position is 100% nationwide travel – candidate must be within commuting distance to a regional or international airport
