Job Summary As a Technician ll under our Chemical Production Department, you will be responsible for all the routine and non-routine processes of chemical formulations (Lens formulation materials, in-process solutions, in-package saline solutions) Operations in our Tuas Plant. In this role, a typical day will include: Performs routine and non-routine processes in chemical production operations Helps manage and maintain chemical production calibration, documentation, inventory (i.e. cycle count), maintenance and compliance Assumes full responsibility in maintaining training on the required technical, quality compliance and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Participates and/or initiate projects that improve process efficiency and/or reduce operating cost Knows, understands and complies with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines. Reports any unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses and hazardous material releases Knowledgeable in safe handling of chemicals/waste disposal Supports implementation of Data Integrity (DI) Program for the site Job Requirement: At least NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical and Life Sciences or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment, production operations, GMP/GDP manufacturing or any other related manufacturing sectors.
