JOB SUMMARY: A Test Technician II examines and tests filters, hybrids, VCO’s and IMA’s for conformance with dimensional and performance specifications, using precision measuring instruments. This includes troubleshooting products, equipment and process issues, performing acceptance testing, documenting fixtures, equipment maintenance, and updating process documentation. The Technician will also assist engineers with projects through building or procuring test equipment, performing testing and process validations. The candidate will also work closely with engineering and operations to support and improve manufacturing processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High School Diploma, associate degree or Equivalent Microelectronics Experience
  • Experience Years: 1-3 years in a related field
  • Experience Type: Electrical Engineering or Technology OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of test equipment like Network analyzers, Spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
  • Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints and electrical drawings.
  • Able to do basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to sit at work station/microscope 8+ hours per day
  • Lift and/or move 25 pounds
  • General vision abilities to include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
