Scope and Purpose of the Role: As a Technician Instructor in Trowel Occupations, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our curriculum. You will work closely with the Curriculum Lead to ensure learners receive high-quality guidance and support, contributing to their success and progression. Your role will involve both practical instruction and administrative tasks to maintain a safe and effective learning environment.

• Support curriculum staff with the supervision of learners in workshops and practical teaching areas.
• Provide pre-course and on-course guidance to learners.
• Plan, prepare, and assess learner activities to meet external body requirements.
• Undertake administrative tasks related to learner attendance, record keeping, and reporting.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation.
• Assist with department marketing and recruitment activities.
• Modify and maintain equipment and resources.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate practical techniques to learner groups.
• Support the purchasing of services and supplies for the curriculum area.
