ABOUT THE ROLE As the ROLE you will be in charge of performing troubleshooting and repairing Production Machinery and carries out preventative maintenance when required. Main missions: Provides comprehensive 1st line technical service solutions and product support to internal and external customers Interfaces with other departments in the resolution of technical problems Evaluates new products to understand functions and features, and to assist employees with product information Provides feedback to engineering, production and product management regarding product problems, enhancements, customer requirements Writes Shift Reports Changes over machines to different product families Carrying out First Article Inspection and sending the reports Attends Tier 1 Production Meetings Carryout Preventive Maintenance on production machines Assist in continuous improvement of products and procedures Troubleshoot, optimize and resolve equipment related problems Complete and retain technical documentation Adheres to company policies and procedures Adhere to all safety procedures at all times Comply with all environmental health and safety procedures Attends training sessions when required Any other ad-hoc projects ABOUT YOU You are/have: Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience : Must have an Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of 1-2 years Technician experience Language Skills : Must be able to communicate in the English language Must be able to read and interpret work orders, manuals, specifications, and similar documents Mathematical Skills : Must have basic mathematical skills Reasoning Ability : Must have strong troubleshooting skills and finding the root cause (with example and proof preferably) Computer Skills : Must have the ability to use personal computer to enter and retrieve data, generate reports, print and etc. Minimum requirements for Excel and Word.
