JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple technical disciplines, including electrical and mechanical systems. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance across our facilities. The Technician will provide hands-on support to operations while delivering high-quality service and fostering a collaborative work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, and general facilities upkeep.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and the ability to read technical schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for effective customer interaction.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform tasks independently or as part of a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Welding skills for equipment repair and fabrication.
  • Experience with CMMS or other maintenance management software.
  • Leadership experience in supervising technical teams.
  • Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as an ohmmeter.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and programming tasks.
  • Conduct welding operations as required for equipment repair and modifications.
  • Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Execute facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff during maintenance projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Assist in manufacturing processes by resolving equipment malfunctions and providing technical support.
  • Engage with customers to address service requests and deliver effective solutions.
  • Perform residential or facility painting as needed to maintain premises.
