This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 7 day a week QC Laboratory. The lab technician is responsible for lab analysis to support manufacturing of chemical products which include Ethylene and Polyethylene. Laboratory technicians are responsible for providing efficient and cost-effective routine and non-routine analytical and physical testing on products produced and/or samples generated at this site. They are also accountable for working safely, independently, and efficiently while always seeking and implementing methods to reduce costs, improve quality and reduce the potential for injury. This position places emphasis on proactively seeking continuous improvement and utilizes best practices in order to meet or exceed our customer expectations.
