Composite Test & Evaluation is a well equipped laboratory specialising in testing and evaluation services for composite, adhesive, and other non-metallic materials. With over a decade of experience in the aerospace sector, we are dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique challenges associated with non-metallic materials.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Machinist to join our dynamic team at Composite Test & Evaluation. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing test specimens for material evaluation, using equipment such as a band saw, CNC Plate Saw and CNC Router. You will also carry out surface preparation of the test material, including grit blasting.
An important aspect of this role includes the routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance and a safe working environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with G-Code is advantageous but not essential
• Previous machining experience or using engineering equipment is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided for the right person
  Negotiable hours- Full or Part Time
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
