Description
Objective: * To secure and to maintain the availability of the production facility * Preparation and implementation of concepts for improvement * To ensure the functionality of the facility and outside facilities * In the event of a fault, fast and targeted action is needed for short downtimes of the systems and machines. * During the production monitoring weak points become aware and causes can be removed * Well-directed personnel deployment   Proficiency: * Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. * Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or structures. * Knowledge of relevant safety equipment, policies and procedures. * Knowledge of the structure and function of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. * Maintenance systems * Proficient Knowledge of; Mechanical, Electrical, Blueprint Reading, Electrical Schematics reading, Arc Welding, Gas Welding & Cutting * Basic knowledge of PLC and robotics * Strong understanding of industrial maintenance Safety & Best Practices and the ability adhere to them * Able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate Main Duties: * Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures  * Repair all plant machinery and equipment including robots, hydraulic presses and mechanical presses * Provide mechanical and electrical support to keep machinery operating.  * Move, align, level, and install machinery  * Records machine maintenance information.  * PLC troubleshooting, programming, and installing  * PMC or other maintenance specific database software  * Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Responsibilities
The technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment failures. They will also repair all plant machinery and equipment, ensuring the functionality of the facility.
