AS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • You have a DEC in Industrial Maintenance Technology or DEC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • You have maintenance experience on production machines (an asset).
  • You have experience in maintaining hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic machines (an asset).
  • You have to be comfortable working independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • You have very good communication skills.
  • You have good judgment and work well in a multidisciplinary team.
  • You need to be flexible, there is possibility of working varied hours over 7 days, 24/24 hours, according to the collective agreement. (Day OR Evening OR Night)

Responsibilities
  • Interpret plans, specifications and technical documentation for different industrial equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. (Lathe, milling machine, CNC machine, sheet metal equipment, heat treatment, etc.)
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on various equipment using specialized tools.
  • Participate in the design, manufacturing and optimization of equipment.
  • Carry out work, both at height (nacelle, lifting platform) and in enclosed spaces.
  • Use electric, pneumatic or manual tools, depending on the operations to be carried out.
  • Use measuring instruments, such as micrometer, vernier, caliper, etc.
