We are looking for full time permanent Technicians to join our Microbiology Team based at our Lynfield Laboratory. This opportunity sits within our General Microbiology team. Successful applicants will be responsible for carrying out Microbiological analysis on routine samples and ensure our customer’s products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your key duties will involve:

  • Complete sample testing within the given turn-around-time (TAT)
  • Strictly adhere to all laboratory and regulatory quality assurance procedures
  • Ensure all relevant records are kept up to date at all times
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Participate and contribute to working safely
  • Be actively involved in all the day to day improvement activities

Our laboratory is open 7 days a week and flexibility to work overtime at short notice is ideal. The roster on offer includes at least one weekend day as part of your roster. The successful applicant will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week. Please note shift work is involved in the processing team between 6.00am and 10.00pm.
