Requirements Job Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES) Post-secondary certificate in automotive industry Minimum of five years of experience as an Auto Technician Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Must be able to wear required uniform and required safety equipment (both provided by the company). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to repair machines or systems using the needed tools. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Control operations of equipment or systems. Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Staying technically relevant and apply new knowledge to work. Maintain a clean and tidy work station as well as maintain the general shop area. Maintain a professional appearance.
