Description Midway Motors Auto Group is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose issues, complete quality repairs, and help deliver an exceptional service experience. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple vehicle systems. Key Responsibilities · Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately following dealer and manufacturer standards. · Diagnose concerns based on customer complaints, inspections, and test drives. · Perform needed repairs, request required parts, and properly store warranty components. · Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or safety needs and communicate findings promptly. · Road-test vehicles and inspect new arrivals for damage or missing components. · Document all work performed and recommended services. · Communicate clearly with service advisors and managers regarding additional work, delays, or unnecessary repairs. · Install customer- or dealer-requested accessories. · Maintain a clean workspace, proper tool care, and professional appearance. · Follow all safety procedures, reporting concerns immediately. · Stay current with manufacturer training, bulletins, and technical updates. · Assist and mentor entry-level technicians as needed. · Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Job Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES) Post-secondary certificate in automotive industry Minimum of five years of experience as an Auto Technician Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Must be able to wear required uniform and required safety equipment (both provided by the company). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to repair machines or systems using the needed tools. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Control operations of equipment or systems. Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Staying technically relevant and apply new knowledge to work. Maintain a clean and tidy work station as well as maintain the general shop area. Maintain a professional appearance.
