KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Educated to A-level/ HNC level in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a laboratory.
• Good understanding of basic lab equipment
• Accountable, honest, hardworking and able to work efficiently in a team
• Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet customer/business requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and quick to learn.
• Computer literate in standard MS office applications
• Well organized and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently.
• Experience of working in a regulated environment is preferred.
• English fluency (written and spoken)

PURPOSE:

The role of Technicianwithin the Material Sciences group at RSSL is responsible for performing a range of routineanalyses ensuring that projects are completed effectively and meet the customer’s contractual agreements. The role of Technician will perform analysis of a wide range of products across food and pharmaceutical sectors. This role will need to work in accordance with the quality standards at RSSL. This role focuses on high throughput visual, dimensional and performance testing of medical devices and packaging.
