The successful candidate will work with a reputable client in the engineering or construction industry, where they will be responsible for fitting and assembling pipes and tubes for various systems and structures. Responsibilities Study building plans and blueprints to understand specifications and requirements Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and equipment Fit and assemble pipes and tubes according to specifications Inspect and test pipe systems to identify leaks or other issues Install supports, valves, and control systems for pipe systems Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other technicians to ensure efficient installation and maintenance Adhere to safety protocols and regulations throughout the pipe fitting process Proven experience as a pipe fitter Demonstrated knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and procedures Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficient in using pipe fitting tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good physical stamina and dexterity Valid certification or license in pipe fitting (if applicable)
