ABOUT THE ROLE Job Summary: As a Quality Technician is to ensure company and customer quality standards are being met. The work is reports to Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager and is responsible for quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC) and Laboratory activities in the company such as to conduct quality tests of the products and processes, supervise inspection checks, maintain and calibrate test equipment, and communicate test results. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain inspection reports Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications Maintaining calibration of quality control and lab equipment Perform/Supervise inspections across all stages of production Performing manual and automated quality checks Prepare and maintain test data for review Evaluate data to ensure nothing relevant deviations from existing standards Communicating quality or compliance concerns with urgency Action and support manager to close all customer complaints Supervise inspection checks on goods Reporting safety and quality violations to the Quality manager on time Cooperates and works with production departments on day-to-day basis Monitor and perform the incoming materials inspections and outgoing inspections and make sure no deviations against the standards and product specifications Receiving, labeling and safely storing samples to be tested Determining and performing tests needed for the analysis and report Recording tests and analyses and then reporting the result Perform routine and non-routine lab tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments Calculate test results, and log and report results using a computer Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample About You Qualifications and Experience: A Degree or an equivalent qualification in a related field from a recognized institution. A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting is a plus. Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus. A “COC” certification is a plus.
