Wages The Rental Technician starting wage will depend on experience and education. $33.80 - $42.22 Responsibilities Quinn Company is seeking a Rental Technician to support our rental fleet by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing Caterpillar and allied equipment. This role focuses on fast, high-quality turnaround to ensure rental machines are safe, reliable, and ready for customers. Position: Rental Technician Location: Oxnard Rate: $33-$41.50 We Offer a Comprehensive Package: Career Stability Opportunity for Growth Medical, Dental, Vision 401K with a Match Profit Sharing Flexible Spending Accounts Basic Life and AD&D Insurance Lead and Field Premium Tool Allowance Program Tool Insurance Coverage Company Provided Uniforms Life Assistance Program Critical Illness Insurance Paid Vacation, Sick Time and Holidays Requirements: Performs advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on Caterpillar and allied rental equipment Inspect rental equipment upon return and prior to re-rental Perform preventive maintenance (PM services, fluids, filters, inspections) Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Identify damage or excessive wear and document findings Prepare equipment to be rent-ready in a timely manner Ensure all machines meet safety and compliance standards Use Caterpillar diagnostic tools and service manuals Support field service calls and shop as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area PM services, 90-day bits, ansi Replacing or rebuilding parts like engines, transmissions, and hydraulics Documenting repairs and service report Responding to breakdowns at customer job sites Swapping or repairing machines quickly to minimize downtime Ability to operate equipment and function test machines Follows all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work area Adhere to manager’s and lead mechanic’s directions regarding all repairs and service calls Perform other work-related duties as directed or assigned Required to work overtime if needed Join Quinn Company and become a key player in a stable and rewarding career.
