Are you a qualified senior Lift Engineer or Lift Technician looking for a Lift Technician job at a market-leading family-run business? Stannah, a global leader in the lift industry, is looking to recruit qualified Lift Technicians to join the team.
As the Lift Technician you will provide senior level technical product and engineering expertise in maintenance, refurbishment and repair of industrial lifts, and associated equipment, using their knowledge and experience to complete technical assessments; determining any faults to provide resolution, along with process and cost reporting.

LIFT TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience with passenger and goods lifts working in a lift engineer job or lift technician job
  • Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
  • Full driving licence

Responsibilities

LIFT TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide senior-level expertise in maintaining, refurbishing, and repairing industrial lifts and equipment.
  • Conduct technical assessments, determine faults, and report on processes and costs.
  • Perform thorough examinations and tests to current standards/regulations.
  • Monitor site safety, quality, compliance, and performance of field engineers and subcontractors.
  • Manage site technical queries and liaise with clients.
  • Conduct site surveys and produce dilapidation and technical reports.
  • Carry out thorough examinations as required by LOLER.
  • Assist with commissioning refurbished lifts.
