Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. Reports to: Director or Manager of Department FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Minimum Qualifications Education High School diploma preferred. Minimum Work Experience Prior inventory, supply chain, warehouse, or hospital materials management experience preferred but not required.   Required Skills * Critical thinking and decisive judgment. * Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. * Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems. * Effective English communication skills (read, write, speak, and understand). * Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.   Essential Functions * Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory and adjusts records as needed. * Stocks hospital units with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain par levels. * Receives shipments, logs receipts, and enters data into the inventory system. * Delivers supplies to departments or other facilities and reports errors or damages to management. * Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally and routes calls/messages appropriately. * Completes clerical and computer-based tasks that support patient care delivery. * Processes outgoing mail.   Non-Essential Functions * Performs other duties as assigned.   Additional Information Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic information.
