Greco are looking to bring in Technicians. An ideal opportunity for someone looking for a start in the subsea industry and/or a career change. We have a proven track record training new personnel and offer a flexible approach to suit different candidates abilities.
Candidates will have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians in several facets of electronics.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Undertaking any other duties which are assigned to you by management.

SKILLS (MANDATORY)

  • Attention to detail and quality under pressure.
  • Organisation and time management.
  • Ability to comply to company procedures and policy.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing drawings/schematics and identify any incorrect or missing information.

SKILLS (DESIRABLE)

  • Wiring of subsea cable assemblies.
  • Wiring of subsea penetrators.
  • Manufacture of subsea connectors and bulkheads.
  • Oil filled assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Soldering and/or assembly of subsea electrical assemblies and components in accordance with job card.
  • Follow technical drawings, assembly instructions and parts list to manufacture assemblies in line with customer expectations.
  • Completing relevant production and testing documentation.
  • Completing necessary preventative maintenance of all assembly equipment.
  • Follow manufacturing priority plan set by production management.
  • Managing time to maximise output while maintaining quality.
  • Complying with safe working practices, following risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH requirements within the work cell.
  • Ensuring barcode scanners are used to ensure accurate tracking of all jobs within production.
