An exciting opportunity has become available for a Wheel Alignment/Tyre Mechanic to become a valuable member of our Service Department at Brisbane BMW. We are looking for someone who has high mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in the industry. As a Tyre Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks on tyres, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Inspect and assess the condition of tyres to identify any issues or potential problems Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on various types of tyres Mount, balance, and rotate tyres as required Conduct wheel alignments and adjust suspension systems as needed Diagnose and troubleshoot tyre-related problems, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment Ensure proper inflation, tread depth, and overall tyre integrity Maintain accurate records of tyre services performed Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new tyre technologies, and best practices About You: You will be an integral part of our customer experience and possess the following skills and experience: Relevant trade qualifications and proven workshop experience (BMW / European experience is desirable however not essential) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
