Job Description Role Purpose Ensure uninterrupted business operations through a safe and efficient facility environment. Manage a site team and lead day-to-day maintenance, proactively manage technical operations, and support lifecycle management of equipment. Oversee audits, enforce health & safety standards, guide utilities management, and contribute to continuous improvement across services and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence & Maintenance• Oversee planned, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance consistent with SLAs • Identify, assess, and resolve facility risks and equipment faults proactively Compliance & Continuous Improvement• Implement and maintain HSE, quality, and risk management systems in line with company standards • Initiate process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness, energy efficiency, and cost savings Team & Project Leadership• Supervise and mentor technical team, including scheduling, performance feedback, and development • Assist with or lead small-scale technical projects, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.• Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting• Serve as the communication hub, coordinating daily operations and handling supplier relationships.• Prepare weekly and monthly technical reports for leadership and facilitate regular team and supplier meetings.• Maintain audit-ready documentation, including compliance, maintenance logs, and project records. Asset & Utilities Management• Manage technical assets’ lifecycle to maximize equipment lifespan and compliance.• Oversee utilities usage, monitoring, and cost-control initiatives.Availability & Response• Be available for standby duty and overtime when required.• Respond promptly to emergencies affecting site operations. Key Relationships Key Internal Relationships Business leaders and campaigns, Management, Suppliers, etc. Key External Relationships Service Providers, Vendors, Contractors, Landlords, Local Authorities & Supplier, regulatory bodies etc. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Required Essential• Matric Grade 12• Qualified Electrician• Wireman’s license• WNS DOL registration• Minimum N3 or equivariant • At least 5 years Experienced preferably in a Facilities environment and in a similar role.• A Valid Driver’s License and own transport • Own mobile smart phone • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook etc. Preferred• Facilities Management background• Testing electrical installations• HVAC systems• Report writing• Regulatory compliance• Vendor contract management• Staff management (HR basic functions)
