REQUIREMENTS:

• High school
• Experience in Fire Assay is an asset. On-the-job training is offered
• Attention to detail, safety, and quality
• Motivated, proactive, and reliable
• Able to read, understand, and follow instructions safely and accurately
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills in French (English is an asset)
• Manual dexterity to perform complex and/or repetitive tasks;
• Clean-shaven to wear a respirator
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Strict adherence to the company’s health, safety and business conduct policies
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

The incumbent of this position will be responsible for performing fire assay techniques such as weighing samples, mixing chemicals and samples (fluxing), melting, and cupellation to perform fire assay. The candidate must be able to work in a hot environment.
