Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) technicien(ne) contrôle qualité afin d’agrandir et de supporter notre équipe de qualité actuelle.

QUALIFICATIONS RECHERCHÉES

• Expérience entre 1-3 ans dans un poste similiaire
• Diplôme en ingénierie et/ou en assurance qualité (un atout)
• Connaissance des codes ASME section VIII et IX, B31.3, CSA B51 (un atout)
• Connaître les spécifications des matériaux : ASTM, DIN, BS et ASME (un atout)
• Connaissance d’Autocad
• Connaissance des normes de qualité ISO 9001)
• Bilinguisme requis puisque le candidat est appelé à travailler avec des clients à l’échelle national et internatinal exigeant de la documentation anglophone

Our products meet all the requirements of the gas, pulp and paper, steel, and other markets. They are manufactured in accordance with specific certifications and rigorous quality control processes. We are currently looking for a Quality Control Technician to expand and support our current quality team.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Degree in engineering and/or quality assurance (an asset)
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII and IX, B31.3, CSA B51 codes (an asset)
• Knowledge of material specifications: ASTM, DIN, BS, and ASME (an asset)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards
• Bilingualism required as the candidate will be working with national and international clients who require English documentation

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the incumbent will ensure product quality control and perform the following duties:

• Maintain product specification history
• Issue test certification documents
• Handle non-conformities from suppliers
• Issue certificates of conformity to customers
• Act as internal auditor for ISO
• Verify customer orders to determine the inspections and tests to be performed
• Make drawings, when required, using AutoCAD software and attach them to customer orders
• Forward customer orders to the data entry department
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.
