THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Veterinary X-Ray & Biomedical Technician to join our technical service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing veterinary X-Ray and biomedical equipment. This is a hands-on, field-based position with significant autonomy and customer interaction.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical diploma/degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, industrial electronics, or a related field
• Strong technical competence with Windows OS, computer hardware/software
• Bilingual (French & English)
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable vehicle
• Resourceful, independent, and customer-focused
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly

• Install, repair, and maintain veterinary X-Ray systems (dental and full-body units), including:
• Wall-mounting and structural assembly
• Electrical (240V / 115V) and peripheral connections
• Integration with computers, software, and imaging systems
• Service and support a variety of veterinary biomedical equipment (anesthesia machines, sterilizers, IV pumps, centrifuges, monitors, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on-site at veterinary clinics
• Provide technical support and customer training to ensure optimal use of equipment
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality service delivery
