  • A degree in marine engineering, shipbuilding and marine technology, mechanical engineering, maritime technology or further training as a technician (m/f/d) specializing in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering forms the professional basis for this position.
  • Experience in the design of mechanical systems or complex plants enables you to independently manage assemblies and confidently solve technical challenges.
  • You are familiar with the relevant regulations and standards in the marine sector and implement technical requirements reliably and in accordance with standards.
  • Ideally, you have practical experience with AutoCAD, Siemens Teamcenter and CADMATIC Outfitting or comparable CAD and PLM systems and are comfortable working in digital development environments.
  • You are characterized by your personal responsibility, analytical thinking, and structured work style, as well as your strong communication skills. You enjoy collaborating with diverse departments, clients, and external partners, and this motivates you to develop successful solutions together.

These are the tasks that await you:

  • Sophisticated systems and equipment for marine engineering and plant construction are created thanks to your technical expertise. From initial concept to production-ready design, you develop solutions for modern naval projects.

  • You will assume overall technical responsibility for selected assemblies. You will oversee these from the initial commissioning through design and manufacturing, actively contributing your ideas in every project phase.
  • Successfully bringing together different specialist disciplines is part of your daily work. You coordinate technical interfaces, liaise with related departments, and oversee implementation in the master plan and 3D model.
  • Together with customers, suppliers and authorities, you develop viable technical solutions, make well-founded decisions and contribute to bringing marine projects to completion on time and to the required quality standards.
