Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Jose, United States. In this role, you will be the technical bridge between our cutting-edge products and our valued customers, leveraging your engineering expertise to provide exceptional technical customer support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations resolve problems Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored presentations to related to their use case(s) Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners Contribute to product development by providing market feedback and customer insights Travel to customer sites within the United States as needed (typically once per month). Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or related field) 5+ years of experience in field applications engineering or technical sales Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering fields Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences Proven track record of successful customer engagements and sales In-depth knowledge of industry-specific technologies and trends SKILLS Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Understanding of customer pain points and technical requirements Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Relevant technical certifications are preferred Willingness to travel within the US to customer sites. Potential for international travel also exists. Compensation & Benefits Details An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs. The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
