Cheshire - 3 days in office per week

Are you a detail-driven food industry professional ready to step into a critical technical role? Our client, a leading name in food manufacturing, is on the hunt for a Technologist to join their retail division!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive a culture of food safety by ensuring all products meet customer, legal, and ethical requirements-from launch to post-market reviews.
  • Manage critical product data including specifications, artworks, nutritional info, validations, and shelf-life testing to meet launch deadlines.
  • Own customer relationships through accurate completion of specs, questionnaires, KPIs, portal entries, and audit responses.
  • Lead supplier technical management through approvals, document reviews, risk assessments, and compliance to customer standards.
  • Support internal systems including HACCP, internal audits, allergen management, traceability, and complaint resolution processes.
  • Ensure ethical and sustainable sourcing practices using platforms like SEDEX and certifications like RSPO, MSC, RTFA.
  • Act as deputy contact for product incidents, working cross-functionally to resolve non-conformances and drive improvements.
  • Monitor and report on technical KPIs, supplier performance, and human rights risks across the supply chain.

What you’ll need:

  • Relevant experience with customers and/or suppliers in the food industry
  • Flexibility to travel when required
