Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Mechanical expert in HGA operation Leverage related knowledge to improve FA turnaround time and predictable machine performance for maximizing reliable capacity, Yield and product quality Support HGA NPI product builds, HGA Automation transitioning and all HGA new technology and process reviews for volume production readiness Qualifications REQUIRED: Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics or related science/engineering Experienced 5+ years in HDD or Electronics industry In depth understanding for the HGA product characteristics and how they will influence to downstream processes/product performance (HSA and HDD levels) This covers, but not limited to, Gram Load, Pitch/Roll Static Attitudes, Resonance, Flyability, etc. Identify and execute the process/product improvement opportunities to deliver the optimum factory KPI’s (Yield, Cpk, Quality metrics, Capacity, etc.) and product KPOV’s Improve the incident FA turnaround time through systematic methodology and digitalization Assess and closely work with concerning parties for new process/technology/product to guarantee no capacity, cost and quality hiccup since NPI and Mass Production builds SKILLS: Good in communications With data analytics and/or coding skills is an advantage Eager on learning and self-development Additional Information #LI-KS2 Western Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
