Description POSTING DATE: May 2026 POSITION TITLE: Technology and Innovation (K-4) Teacher REPORTS TO: K-4 Principal STATUS: Full-Time; Exempt START DATE: August 2026 HOURS: School calendar and hours of operation. LCA has a close-knit staff and faculty who join together for prayer, biblical worldview training, celebrations, and staff development. As a LCA employee, it is essential and foundational to understand, live out, and agree wholeheartedly with Legacy’s Statement of Faith, Social Stances, Core Values, and the Profile of a Legacy Employee. As the Technology and Innovation Specialist for K-4 th grade, this position will collaborate with Innovation/Technology colleagues to design and prepare creative activities for students for the assigned grade levels and classes they will teacher. They will support in student creativity and design thinking process, lead in building the scope and sequence of each class, and work collaboratively with their supervisor to grow the innovation and technology programs at Legacy. The Technology and Innovation Specialist will also connect with classroom and specialist teachers to support learning and to enhance the overall experience of students. Job Requirements & Qualifications: Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity. Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith. Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship. Individual must be comfortable connecting the biblical truths and worldview perspectives to their students’ lives. Comfort with or openness to learning school management software and other online teaching tools such as Google Classroom and the Google suite. Possesses an innovative mindset. Ability to work with all functions - administration, support staff, other faculty, and students. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
Responsibilities
Design and implement creative technology and innovation activities for K-4 students while building the program's scope and sequence. Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology into the overall student learning experience.
