TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT - SENIOR- CLOUD

On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Technology Architect - Senior- Cloud for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT - SENIOR- CLOUD - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role involves working on a critical government project focused on API and data integration. The Technology Architect will be responsible for developing and designing new APIs and technical schemas, enhancing data extract functionality from on-prem systems to a cloud environment, leveraging Azure technologies.

TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT - SENIOR- CLOUD - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Experience developing baseline architectures, API and integration models, data mapping
• Hands-on, in-depth understanding and practical knowledge of Azure technologies (Synapse, ADF, Databricks, etc.)
• Extensive experience building API schemas and specifications
• Experience with data models and related architecture
• Strong communication skills for documentation and presentations

TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT - SENIOR- CLOUD – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience in structured methodologies for application design and implementation
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ability to guide others using this methodology
• Experience in business and data analysis, and business/information architecture
• Public Sector / OPS experience

• Develop, recommend, implement, and manage data and technical architecture for applications in a distributed cross-platform environment
• Lead the delivery and design of architecture in collaboration with project implementation activities
• Work with development teams to design better data extract functionality from on-prem systems to the cloud
• Collaborate with clients to develop data and integration requirements
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on design, architecture, and project implementation activities
