We are seeking an experienced specialist to join the Technology Governance & Optimization (TG&O) organization. You will oversee strategic projects to optimize lifecycle management of technology assets across the enterprise, ensuring alignment to business goals, compliance, cost control, operational readiness, and reporting findings to the Technology Asset Management (TAM) Program leader. This role requires a blend of project leadership, asset-management domain expertise, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of Information Technology (IT) environments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience in project management for both small and large projects
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban, etc.) and agile project management tools (JIRA, TFS, VersionOne, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with tracking cost, schedule and/or technical performance
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor management
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of TAM initiatives across hardware, software, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Define project objectives, success criteria, scope, schedules, resource plans, and budgets; maintain detailed project plans and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and governance bodies
  • Lead TAM project updates and status meetings including but not limited to vendor business performance reviews, all-hands team meetings, priority, objective, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reviews, etc.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project and asset-related risks, including cybersecurity and regulatory/compliance exposures
  • Drive vendor and partner management for asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal, negotiating contracts and ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLAs) are met
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, engineering, operations, finance, procurement and security teams to ensure TAM initiatives support operational and financial objectives
  • Implement continuous improvement and best practices, including lessons learned, metrics, KPIs, and process automation to increase asset availability and reduce total cost of ownership
