REQUIREMENTS

• ·Good standard of general education
• Commitment to ongoing personal professional development
• Relevant experience of working with IT systems and/or DT workshops or related environments
• Have good working ICT knowledge including Microsoft Office
• Good interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
• Good literacy skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Unconditional positive regard for students, staff and all visitors to the school
• The ability to remain calm and quickly adapt to changes
• Organised and motivated with ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record
• Ability to provide an inspirational role model to all pupils

• Support for Technology Department:
• To prepare equipment, resources and teaching areas for practical classes.
• To assist in the preparation of resources and materials for Design Technology as required.
• To support staff and students through the use of specific machinery eg circular saw, band saw, scroll saw, sanders, pillar drills and laser cutters plus hand held power tools.
• To undertake training as required.
• To maintain a safe and tidy working environment at all times.
