REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 5+ years developing, updating, and analyzing training materials.
  • 5+ years communicating effectively with public health professionals, nutrition staff, clerical staff, and customers.
  • 5+ years evaluating MIS system changes from a policy and user perspective.
  • 5+ years assessing program operations and compliance, with ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • 5+ years working in state, regional, or local WIC agencies (Florida WIC experience strongly preferred).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Health, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with State of Florida agencies or public health programs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methods and structured quality assurance practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must pass a Level 2 Background Check (State & Federal).
  • Must complete data security and confidentiality training upon onboarding.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking an experienced Technology Business Analyst to support our client in Tallahassee, FL. You’ll play a key role in strengthening WIC program operations, training, and MIS system enhancements as the state modernizes its public health infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, update, and improve existing WIC program training materials.
  • Develop new training content (manuals, modules, presentations, and supporting materials).
  • Provide expert guidance on federal and state WIC policies and regulations.
  • Deliver technical assistance to state and local staff; draft communications and policy updates.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on MIS modifications and enhancements.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and participate in change management meetings.
  • Support modernization of quality assurance protocols and develop staff improvement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with state data security and confidentiality policies.
