Description

Job Description:
As a CXM Technology Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing comprehensive CXM architectures. With a strong emphasis on marketing technology (Martech)—empowered by AI for prediction, personalization, and automation—you will enable organizations to deliver seamless, intelligent, and scalable customer experiences. Expertise in content management and commerce platforms is considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CXM Architecture: Define and implement overarching CXM architectures that seamlessly connect systems, data, and processes to create cohesive, AI-enabled customer journeys.
  • AI-Powered Martech Integration: Design and integrate Martech stacks enriched with AI, ensuring smooth interoperability between CDP, analytics & decisioning engines, machine learning models, marketing automation, and messaging platforms to deliver personalization and next-best-action recommendations at scale.
  • Applied AI & Analytics: Leverage predictive models, generative AI, and autonomous decisioning to enhance customer segmentation, campaign optimization, content personalization, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Consultative Selling & Pre-Sales Support: Engage with potential clients to uncover challenges, collaborate with sales teams on compelling pitches, and act as a trusted advisor—showcasing how Merkle’s AI-driven Martech solutions deliver measurable business value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, data scientists, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure AI-driven Martech strategies are both technically sound and aligned with business objectives.
  • Innovation & Vision: Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in CXM, Martech, and AI, identifying opportunities to scale automation, unlock new efficiencies, and elevate the customer experience.
  • Content & Commerce (Nice-to-Haves): Support integration of content management and e-commerce when required, complementing Martech solutions with richer engagement capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in CXM architecture with a strong focus on marketing technology and AI. Experience with content management and/or commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Deep expertise in Martech ecosystems, including customer data platforms (CDP), analytics & decisioning, AI/ML models, marketing automation, and messaging platforms to drive personalization and next-best-action at scale.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating scalable, data-driven, customer-centric solutions.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture in relation to CXM, AI-driven personalization, and omnichannel engagement strategies.
  • Proven experience in consultative selling, pitching, and pre-sales, with a track record of winning business through trusted advisory and client engagement.
  • Hands-on expertise in leading platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, Braze and/or other Martech ecosystems.
  • Experience with integrations of marketing technology with analytical platforms, data science/ML environments, and (as a plus) content management and Digital Asset Management solutions. Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Optimizely, or Magnolia is considered a pré.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex architectural and AI concepts into clear business value for diverse stakeholders.
