We are seeking a skilled Network Automation Framework Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions for network infrastructure. You will be responsible for building reusable automation frameworks that support deployment, monitoring, configuration, and testing of network devices and services across multi-vendor environments. And to support your personal wellbeing, we hope you will love our dedication to creating the right work and life balance experience!   Join Spirent and together let’s shape tomorrow!       Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in network engineering or automation. * Strong programming/scripting skills in Python (preferred), Go, or Bash. * Experience with network automation tools like Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, RESTCONF, gNMI, or Cisco NSO. * Understanding of networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, VXLAN, etc.). * Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.). * Experience working with REST APIs and YANG/JSON/XML data formats. * Solid understanding of Linux and system administration. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in developing automation for hybrid or cloud-based networks (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Exposure to test automation and frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework. * Knowledge of model-driven programmability using NETCONF/YANG. * Certifications such as CCNP, DevNet Associate/Professional, or JNCIA-DevOps. * Experience in developing network emulators or testbeds using EVE-NG, GNS3, or Containerlab. Soft Skills: * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment. * Passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
