CERTIFICATIONS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree relevant to Technology preferred.
Technology Systems Specialist Certification
Minimum three years experience with e-Rate, WVEIS, and education technology support
Demonstrated successful experience in information technology is required; demonstrated successful experience in a PK-12 school system is preferred
Preferred Experience:
Network installation and maintenance
Multi-Vendor network configuration
Access control systems
Security camera systems
VOIP installation and maintenance
Audio/Video systems
Job Summary:
The Technology Coordinator assists the Superintendent, central office administrators, principals, teachers, and students with administrative and technical assistance in a variety of ways related to technology, and to supervise the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of county computer systems, file servers, phone systems, surveillance and security systems, and food service hardware.
Salary: State Scale plus Coordinator Supplement
Reports to: Director of Technology
Responsibilities:
Maintain a technology inventory system
Manage technology procurement and distribution
Manage technology personnel
Procure and maintain county and school technology services and devices
Manage student and staff access to all technology services.
Manage network infrastructure, building access, security cameras, phones, PA systems, Audio/Video Systems, and other classroom and district technology.
Collaborate with school and district staff on technology related needs.
Coordinate response to cybersecurity incidents
Maintain policies and procedures for technology distribution and access, and state and federal cyber safety requirements
Attend meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities as required
Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and/or Director of Technology
