• Senior Project ManagerLocation: HybridEmployment type: Contract 12 months, with options to extend up to 24 monthsAbout the roleASJ Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to work as a Technical Delivery Manager Lead supporting a major Federal Government agency's ICT program. In this role, you'll take responsibility for the delivery of technical projects and services, overseeing technical execution, leading project and technical teams, and ensuring delivery stays aligned with business objectives.This is a labour hire engagement with a Commonwealth government buyer, requiring the successful candidate to hold or be able to obtain a Baseline security clearance.Key responsibilitiesIdentify key business objectives to deliver business outcomes and benefits
• Manage project scope from inception to closure, including implementation schedules and budgets
• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off, and control project milestones and risk
• Ensure project consultants deliver to configuration, development and methodology standards
• Lead and manage technical teams including developers, engineers and other technical professionals
• Identify and manage technical delivery risks, escalating issues with mitigation options
• Generate project status reports against business objectives using established PM methodologies
• About you3–5 years of Technical Delivery Management experience in a complex, high-pressure ICT environment
• Strong capability across project management, requirements management, stakeholder relationship management, organisational change management and financial management (SFIA-aligned)
• Knowledge of project scheduling tools; familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Microsoft technology exposure required, OpenShift container platform knowledge desirable)
• Able to hold or obtain a Baseline security clearance
• Comfortable working in a hybrid arrangement with the ability to attend the Canberra site in person when required
