The Manager, Technology (Delivery) is a strategic leader who guides, coaches, and supports a team of software engineers and test analysts through the project stages of intake, design, development, delivery, and maintenance of premium software and digital campaigns.    While the Delivery role involves many aspects of project management, it runs deeper than a typical Project Manager role. You will gain a deep understanding of our robust promotional gaming software platform and ecosystem, so that you and your team deliver quality experiences to millions of users around the world. As a People Manager, you will be a trusted leader for your reports. This role also interfaces with internal stakeholders, external integration partners, and clients for planning, troubleshooting, and general support.   RESPONSIBILITIES   Gain a comprehensive understanding of the platform and products within its ecosystem to confidently represent ideas, approaches, needs, requirements, and other aspects related to project workstream delivery Lead the delivery of a pillar of the product roadmap, working closely with technical leads to ensure accurate, timely, and quality execution and handoff of those workstreams Directly manage up to 7 software engineers, leading their growth and performance as individuals and as a collective team  Own project management of workstreams including estimates, project schedules, status reports, change orders, risk registers, post mortems, sprint planning and ticket hygiene, and financial accountability. Participate in staff planning and allocations. Act as a day-to-day point-of-contact to the client and/or internal stakeholders on project-related issues, including project scope, timeline, status, and budget Ensure effective collaboration amongst a matrixed project team of technology architects, business analysts, system engineers, testers, infrastructure technologists, UX, and product owners to successfully manage world-class customer solutions from inception through delivery Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams (internal and external) to proactively analyse and mitigate impact in order to ensure seamless delivery and integrations Foster the growth, performance, and happiness of your reports through leadership and effective coaching Participate in all organizational aspects of people management, such as regular 1:1s and review cycles Connect with tech leaders to support excellence and growth on the team, promote healthy team building, and advance our capabilities for the organization as well as our customers Advocate for the team and promote their successes, celebrate their wins, and share key learnings throughout the organization Apply relevant principles of effective project frameworks in all interactions and equip the team to do the same Be a guardian and champion of project delivery processes for our group, ensuring our methodologies are followed, effective and meaningful     SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE   Required: 7+ years of experience in an aspect of software product development, preferably in the martech industry 3+ years leading the delivery of API driven software and services, with a proven track record of successful project organization and delivery using waterfall and agile frameworks 1+ years as a direct people manager on a technical team, preferably of software engineers, with a demonstrated investment toward people’s growth and performance excellence Advanced competency of project management strategies including the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, manage resource allocations, and run team meetings Mastery of using workflow tools (preferably Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence) for maintaining exceptional project management organization and documentation Excellent written and verbal communication for interfacing effectively with internal and external/client teams Knowledge of GIT and experience with GIT collaboration workflows Capable of validating software functionality via API testing or mobile applications if necessary   Desired: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering degree Scrum Master, PMP, or ITIL certification  Familiarity with reading and writing XML markup Experience with proxy, debugging, and profiling tools such as Charles or Fiddler Solid understanding of security and encryption practices  Understanding of HTTP & REST APIs, with knowledge of how to test using tools such as curl or Postman   Nice to have: Experience with Data pipelines and analytics  Experience with Mobile Application development  Experience delivering reliable DevOps solutions, continuous integration and continuous delivery  Experience with leveraging public cloud infrastructure (specifically AWS)  Exposure to API service oriented architectures   Up to $90.00 an hour W2 CAN, depending on experience.
