Description

Our client operates a diverse business spanning Australia's largest independent Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) and the sale of consumer electronics and computing products across multiple channels. They are a small, agile and entrepreneurial team having a big impact as the largest non-carrier network telecommunications provider, helping 2 million customers stay connected every day.

About the role

This is a newly created role. As they complete a major BSS/OSS platform migration, expand into new connectivity product categories, grow their AI-enabled tooling capability, and scale a multi-product digital ecosystem, the Technology Delivery Specialist is the operational backbone that keeps everything moving and connected.

Reporting to the Head of Technology & Platforms, you'll coordinate delivery activities across internal stakeholders, vendors and technology partners — supporting release planning, UAT coordination, defect and backlog tracking, incident follow-up, delivery reporting and operational readiness across our core telco platform, digital channels and customer communications infrastructure.

This is a hands-on specialist role suited to an organised, delivery-focused professional with strong stakeholder coordination skills, who thrives on keeping a complex environment visible, tracked and moving forward.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate release and UAT activities, including test schedules, release notes, readiness reviews and post-release documentation
  • Maintain defect, backlog, issue and dependency registers, and run regular triage sessions with vendors and internal teams
  • Coordinate vendor delivery meetings, track commitments and milestones, and support vendor governance reporting
  • Support incident coordination, from logging and tracking through to remediation and post-incident review
  • Support delivery of product, pricing, plan, promotion and commercial changes across platform and digital channels
  • Support customer communications delivery across billing, service, marketing and operational channels
  • Track regulatory and compliance-related delivery activities and evidence
  • Support AI, automation and process improvement initiatives, and digital/UI delivery coordination
  • Prepare clear, accurate delivery reports, trackers and governance documentation

What you'll bring

  • 4-7 years' experience in technology delivery, platform operations, release coordination, business analysis, project coordination or vendor delivery support
  • Experience in technology, digital, telecommunications, utilities, financial services or a similarly complex operational environment
  • Strong coordination, planning and organisational skills, with experience supporting release management, UAT, defect tracking or delivery governance
  • Excellent stakeholder management across business, technology and vendor teams
  • Strong written communication skills — minutes, status updates, issue summaries and delivery reports
  • Comfort with ambiguity, competing priorities and multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, BugHerd, Slack or Figma (specific tools matter less than your ability to pick up new platforms quickly)

It's a bonus if you have

  • Experience in telecommunications, MVNO, billing, CRM, digital self-service or customer communications platforms
  • Experience working with outsourced technology vendors or managed service providers
  • Exposure to incident management, release management or ITIL-based environments
  • Experience supporting regulatory, compliance or audit-related delivery tracking
  • Exposure to automation, AI or process improvement initiatives
  • Understanding of Agile, hybrid or waterfall delivery environments

Why apply?

Join a small, agile team where you'll have real ownership and the room to flex your skills across a range of focus areas. They offer a blended working model with face-to-face collaboration at their Chatswood office, complemented by flexible working options, plus staff benefits including up to two mobile plans and additional leave to top up low annual leave balances.

  • If you're an organised, proactive delivery professional who's energised by keeping complex, moving parts on track — we'd love to hear from you.
