POSITIONS: LEAD TEACHERS & ASSISTANT TEACHERS

We are seeking teachers for our technology-based afterschool programs. Candidates must have experience working with students and knowledge of HTML/JavaScript, with an interest in robotics.
We’re looking for educators who are passionate about technology and excited to inspire the next generation of learners.
Programs will start in January.
Job Type: Contracted Position
This is a contracted teaching position with the opportunity for additional dates and hours based on program needs and strong performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Afternoon availability (specific days/times vary by site)
• Reliable transportation to your assigned campus
• Clear background check
• High School Diploma or equivalent (college students welcome!)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, or leading groups
• Understanding of effective classroom strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Lead or assist in fun, interactive after-school classes using provided lesson plans
• Supervise and engage small groups of students (8–15)
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Take attendance, ensure safe dismissal, and handle classroom setup/cleanup
• Communicate with site staff and program coordinators
• Represent VAC Enrichment with professionalism and enthusiasm
